SPECTIR PREPARES FOR SERIES OF NORTHERN BRITISH COLUMBIA
HYPERSPECTRAL SURVEYS
Hyperspectral data collection to support hydrothermal mapping and precious metal exploration
Reno, NV, August 15, 2016– The commercial services arm of SpecTIR, LLC known as the SpecTIR Remote Sensing (SRS) division is deploying for a series of hyperspectral surveys in Northern British Columbia. Partnering with Aero Geometrics of Vancouver in support of multiple clients, this data collection mobilization will cover multiple sites encompassing ~2000 sq. Km. The data will be utilized for various environmental and exploration objectives including hydrothermal alteration mapping. The deployment period is currently expected to last through September 2016, as weather permits, unless additional survey and/or collection requests are added based on sensor availability.
The SpecTIR Remote Sensing (SRS) Division, headquartered in Reno, NV, specializes in the collection and analysis of ground and airborne hyperspectral data captured by our suite of full range VNIR/SWIR sensors. SRS is responsible for conducting all phases of remote sensing operations, including mission planning, data acquisition, data processing, and data analysis. SRS members are highly experienced in the integration and deployment of sensors in diverse aerial platforms based throughout the U.S. and abroad.
